As part of graduate capstone project, I worked alongside Qualcomm’s Connectivity Business Unit, reporting to Global Business Head of Smart Wearables, Pankaj Kedia. Throughout the 10 weeks working together,  I was tasked with analyzing the Mobile Ecosystems Competitive Environment. To do this, I conducted surveyed publicly available acquisition and financial information for key players in the Mobile Ecosystems space. Further, I spoke with several industry experts in the fields of IOT, Metaverse, and Cyber Security to get a stronger understanding of larger industry trends.

Following an industry analysis, I switched my focus onto a regulatory analysis of Chinese & U.S Government policies and the potential impact on potential partnership and product strategy. Specifically Chinese regulatory practices and policy trends, highlighting China’s increasing restrictions on tech exports from US to China and the overall re-focus on Chinese Domestic innovation (Self-reliance).

Final deliverables were an industry leader excel model, 5pg report, and 10minute Powerpoint presentation to Qualcomm Executive Team, including Industry Positioning Map & Strategic Policy Analysis. Informing partnership and operational strategy insights.
